Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hotel Sauze, Sauze Doulx

HI there, I am looking for our next ski holiday and the Hotel Sauze keeps coming up. Does anyone know if it is any good. Do you know if they fit 2 adults and 2 children in the room (age 10&12). also the hotel that is on a steep hill keeps coming up but not sure if you can ski in or out or if you have to walkup a steep hill every day as i do not fancy that.

Can't offer info on hotel sauze, but years ago we stayed in hotel splendid and that up a steep hill just above the town. It certainly wasnt ski in or out. The walk down to town was life threatening due to the ice on the road. The walk up the hill from town was life threatening due to a possible heart attack! Some nights we stayed in the hotel simply because we couldn't face the walk!

the whole of Sauze in on hill, get yourself over the hill to Montgenvre and stop in the Hameau apts, the 4 berth ones will suit you and its ski from the door
