Boredsurfing, Ah yes, we did that run with an instructor a few years back. Very famous off piste. Surprised they got permission for a run there but great short cut from the glacier back to the Vanois

Boredsurfing, For the off pisters I am sure the glacier is heaven for but piste wise, is it worth the haul up when you could have done Les Sources twice in the same time?

Love the time-lapse thing you can do with the webcam. Snow on the mountains, sunshine and clouds in the valley - beautiful!

Looks like the season pass will be available soon. Just received an email from APLP (albeit a bit corrupted, the message, not APLP), looks like a Paradiski pass will be available for 680 euros with the Edenski tarif (whatever that is).
Will post the link tomorrow if I can find a non-corrupted version of the email.

The skialacarte card looks a great idea after a quick glance at the website.

Avec quelques jours de retard (mais on a connu pire),le site d'acc�s au programme "ski � la carte" a �t� ouvert aujourd'hui 19/10.
Si votre profil de ski correspond � ce programme, vous pouvez acqu�rir vos cartes d�s maintenant.
Rappel des principes:
- un abonnement au prix standard de 29� la carte
- des r�ductions 15 � 25% sur le tarif journ�e du domaine
- des journ�es fid�lit� � 1�
- une facturation en fin de mois des journ�es consomm�es

Snow and Sunshine, Welcome to the area, I see you are starting a chalet company in Les Coches this season. Hope to meet you when I get out. Does Andy ski or snowboard. Is the snow starting to settle or has it all melted again. I can see your place from where I am on a clear day. How about putting up a webcam we can all log onto, now that would be cool.

New piste and piste bridge from Aime 2000 into Plagne 1800, the new piste in the pic is the bit with no snow on it!

There was also some major earthmoving and tree removal going on in the mid section of the La Roche blue piste but unfortunately no photo's to post.

Has anyone been up to the Roche de moi and seen this new piste over the back. I still think it is a scandal that they have done this and damaged such a lovely area. And they call this progress.

cockofthenorth, Yep, the piste now comes straight down to it rather than having to go further down and come back to it. The new bridge is wider and all concrete.
