If pressed, priority Fedex will take two days. It won't be cheap but seeing as they are late you could try and get them to pay for it.
I would advise not getting stuff shipped to you in a French ski resort Xmas week. I've done something similar and it wasn't great.

gorilla, too true! The season will have barely begun, it's true, so rock-hoppers will no doubt be the order of the day. Missus tagging along as well and, as she's only a beginner, I will be freeing the heel (shurely you mean flailing around? Ed.) to keep her company, so perhaps the delay is a blessing in disguise.

Arno, how are you enjoying your 112s? I was looking forward to telling you how much I love my 105s but they've not arrived and probably won't do so until 2011/12. bug.
Still, interested to hear how much you've used each of your pairs (in comparison to each other, I mean).
