Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for recommendations on location for early ski season (14th Dec) with good childcare options and other things to do with a 9 month old! Thanks

@ZLMCKEAGUE
, welcome to SnowHeads. You may get more responses if posting in Resort Reviews section, perhaps a Mod can move this? In brief though, that IS very early season and to have the best chance of snow you’ll need to go high, which isn’t always good with a baby. Leaving aside that consideration, perhaps look at
Club Med
- many of their hotels (not all) have a Baby Club for child care, alongside swimming pools etc., for non-ski activities. Esprit are also well-regarded by families, and have smaller chalets as well as larger properties - the benefit of a family specialist operator is that you’re with other families, rather than couples, young groups etc. Sure someone will be along with recent experience, which might be helpful
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

MOD EDIT - moved to "the piste" - unless the OP was specifically thinking of an off-piste trip with childcare? Not an unreasonable request, to be fair.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

You could head north to Finaland or Norway where the resorts are smaller and should be family friendly. You will never be too far form you little one. We went to Gielo in Norway about 6 years ago and they had an excellent troll themed creche at the bottom near the nursery slopes IIRC.
