Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Portes du Soleil says 'You Can Ski'

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Inspired by other French resorts, the Portes du Soleil network (Avoriaz, Les Gets, Morzine, Chatel and Champery etc) is launching a programme called 'You Can Ski' which aims to make it simpler, less scary and more user-friendly for newbies to take to the slopes.

This report by Fast Track Ski.

The new ‘Youcanski’ initiative, in effect means new skiers won’t have to race around when they arrive in resort with everything fully explained and provided in one place on arrival. A major capital investment has been made in creating a special adult beginner ski areas, separate to the kids region and the main slopes, where adult beginners can learn in peace without being distracted by either kids or experienced skiers whizzing past.

It's not explained which of the PDS resorts features these facilities - anyone know?

They're going to put the fence back round the beginners area at Morzine ?

Interesting link. Do you have a link to the original story or just the quote on a travel company web page ?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The PdS site doesnt have much more - just says 'in participating stations'

I suspect it's this year's version of Premiere Glisses and the new green slope in Avoriaz
