Here is Gerry Oginski, "an experienced New York medical malpractice trial lawyer", mounting his case for helmets, based on (1) the death of one actress, which may or may not have been prevented by a helmet (2) the advertising slogan of a helmet manufacturer: "It's your head" (3) "It feels great and keeps your ears warm."
Good way of putting it, I wear a helmet but if I was told to by a lawyer I would be less likely to wear one
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Where do you stop? There can be a helmet from the push bike, from construction site or borrowed from a motorcyclist. Just one will do? or to which specified British Standard?
This could potentially open another can of worms If its to a British standard would this be acceptable in another country ( where most people ski ) or how would you stand wearing a helmet certified to another countries standard, but say insured by a British company ? Would they accept another countries standard ?
Lets face it Solicitors manipulate the truth so much to their own ends, as livetoski, puts it I'd probably be less likely to wear one if a solicitor told me to

I hope that I have not got this wrong but there are already different standards, the US standards are higher than the EU ones and the British ones, plus you have race standards as well!
Helmets are sometimes called brain buckets, but the standards people seem to have only buckets
snowHeads are a friendly bunch.

I would just not wear one in spite. I would wear one if i wanted to, or felt it would help me perform. But yeah, i would be less likely!!!
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

livetoski, the great thing about standards is that there's so many to choose from.
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much
