Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Doesn't sound like anything positive is going to come out of this any time soon. Shame for Pettneu.

@Steilhang, i teckon Matin Stoll is trying to make a deal with
Doppelmayer to buy the lifts. Doppelmayer had threatened to take them away to recover there losses.

He got a great deal with the Hotel & Land ! Maybe he will turn it intoan exclusive German only private ski area Very Happy

@stanton, maybe, but there seem to be a lot of issues which remain to be cleaned up. Why did the Arlberg Resort Pettneu GmbH buy the lifts and then not develop the project further? Evidently the other interested parties (Bausparkasse, Brau AG etc) were not satisfied with the outcome and blocked it. Would Martin Stoll be able to satisfy all concerned parties and if so would the ski area actually be a viable commercial proposition? I suspect not, but that's just my view.

Sounds like it's a complete shambles!
The group of investors who bought the lifts ( two Russians, a Finn, a guy from Lettland and a Tiroler who form the Arlberg Resort Pettneu GmbH) were advised by their lawyer not to buy the Hotel Lavenar, which ended up being bought by some German...
At the time everyone was surprised about that cos they thought the Hotel was an essential part of the project.
Meanwhile the investors are trying to backpedal and get out of their investment and are trying to sue the original advisors who advised on buying the lifts in the first place.
Like I said, I don't expect to see any lifts running in Pettneu any time soon.
Shame!

@Steilhang, no one is going to take on this mess with so many partys involved in a legal dispute.

Just be a great hike & turns hill for the forseable future imo
