Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

StanBowles, since ise is at the EOSB and might not be posting for a couple of days, I've taken the liberty of linking this from his site.

kuwait_ian, That's great Ian. Thanks very much. Pretty much reinforces my positive feel about the area.

ise, Has anyone ever accused you of being opinionated ? Very Happy

I also confess to having a 'French-style' attitutude to Switzerland and its 'occupants' Smile ( Actually need to be careful about writing what I think given how much time I need to spend there! ) Shocked

Bottom line - you think PdS and Grand Massif are bad choices/investments with no 'hidden nuggets'?

I just sold somewhere in the Gd Massif actually.

You're unlikely to be aware of the complete horror with which Les Gets is viewed from Switzerland. There's frequently reports on the TV and radio and it's used as an example of what could happen to Swiss villages. Bizzarely even people in Hte Nendaz comment on it which proves once you're on a downward slide it's hard to see how far down you already are.

ise, Have you had the chance to ski Grimentz on your visits to Val d'Anniviers? Again a place that I've been intrigued by. It sounds like a nice village with the ski area offering something worthwhile but I am not sure how much is north-facing there or in Zinal?

It's the coolest place on the planet, we're buying land, building a house and moving there; so, yes, I liked it Very Happy
