@clarky999, they are my most secret skill-compensation extra. Piste Office official Vist 5mm shims. The end result is that, in my Dynafit Vulcan boots I will have zero to 1mm of ramp/delta.
This was what ramp/delta guru Andy MacCann (of AlpineMacCannix) prescribed to significantly reduce my level of crapness.
Must say I am chuffed with the skis. Praxis have about 50 different top sheet patterns and pictures to choose. My daughter chose these with me - Abstract!

@HammondR, the difference made by getting delta sorted out properly is amazing if you have had problems with it in the past.
So this year I have a pair of Latigos with Wardens, a pair of Smith I/O goggles and a pair of prescription Bolle sunglasses. For people with high prescriptions the Bolle prescription programme is incredible. They have actually produced a working pair of wrap shades at +5 and -3 cyl. I did not think this was possible and have been using inserts. The result is much improved.

I have read an extensive (and quite interesting) thread on another forum where people swear by the Smith Sensor Mirror lens and the Oakley Hi Yellow. However there's also an optometrist who comments and effectively says that there is no lens which can be a cure all and everyone is different. You also can't actually increase contrast, but by using a different colour lens then you can fool your brain into seeing a bit better. I'm desperate to find a set of goggles that suit me in flat light, but it's not something I can really test that often. I bought some cheap Scott goggles with a light blue lens off eBay the other week which hopefully will work a bit better. Part of my problem is that I have a very hot face (due to being pudgy and unfit) so often steam up goggles, something that gets amplified by working hard and going slower than normal, as seems to be the case when it's cloudy and difficult to see clearly.

Thanks I'll have a look at those. It's impossible to know whether they're any good until you actually try them in flat light I suppose!
