Does anyone know when the new seasons gear goes on sale??
Also, do shops offer any early bird new season discounts (I doubt it!!)
Cheers, Phil

speedy, the mainstrean retailers like Snow&Rock seem to get their stock in around September/October. They won't have any earlybird discounts. The main sales for skigear take place at the end of the winter, around April, although there might be a few items of last season's stock on the sale rail at the start of the season.
Welcome to snowHeads.

You can often find early season discounts in resort (first couple of weeks of the season), but I have never seen that in the UK.

Some stuff is already out in shops (I've been oogling new snowboards that I don't really need, and can't really afford, so will probably purchase...)

Snow & rock do a good discount day when they take an old pair of skis as part exchange, very limited time offer just one day I think.
Anybody any info, I just missed it last year.
