Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chris Brookes You could move to the Alps and commute back to Jersey for work. Looks like it would be easier given the Mon-Fri flights from Paris. Toofy Grin

capacity has been cut, margins have been increased, the added bolt on costs have sky rocketed..
will be a lot more driving next season... our short lads trips we try to go on more obscure days now, avoid the weekends.. the multi family trips i reckon a few of us will drive down with all the gear, leaving the fairer sex and any youngsters to hop on off peak 'cheaper' flights with no luggage

Chris Brookes,

When you add up the cost (timewise) of flying. i.e getting to the airport, checkin, plane changes, picking up baggage , tranfers, etc
Sometimes its the same time as the train which is more comfortable and a lot less hassle.

Some compromises have to be made if you want cheap flights, most travel takes a best part of a day from North Western Europe.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I am considering it. But flying takes me about seven hours door to door, whilst driving is 18 hours if we go non-stop and hit no traffic. But driving would save me £700 if I don't stop Confused
