Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm probably in oz for next ( northern hem) winter but would hate to miss my skiing. In Japan a couple of years ago I met some aussies who'd flown up on a 'budget' flight from either Qld or NSW - does anyone know anything about these flights ? I'm already suffering withdrawal & the planning might provide some relief !!

nickH, might be worth asking on the snow japan forum as well http://www.snowjapanforums.com/ubbthreads.php , sure there will be some good advice there.

Try jetstar, Qantas' budget subsidiary that flies to Japan and has very good long term deals, gets loads of Aussie skiers. Also take a look at ski.com.au in the travel forum, lots of info re japan skiing.

Thanks nozawaonsen, I used the snowjapan forum when I went last time ( though that was en-route to oz, not from it) & found it really useful, I'll look at it again now.

Thanks also perthpowchaser, will look into both of those. Have you yourself flown to japan from Perth ? I ask because my first few months will be catching up with friends & revisiting old haunts in perth so might consider a trip to Japan before heading to the eastern states. - perhaps we could meet for a beer in freo ?

Try searching or posting on www.ski.com.au - there is a heap of info there on Japan, and getting there from Aus.
