it's a difficult time of year to try and find stuff for anyone. it also depends on your location - tsa and snow&rock tend to send their remaining kit to the shops based at the indoor slopes. you may well get a bargain, but boots are notoriously difficult to fit properly and are possibly the most important piece of kit for a snowboarder. it's worth checking online first to see if any of these suggested places have the stock then going to get them fit at the store.
various places sell snowboarding kit in the uk - in london you have the usual suspects of tsa (the snowboard asylum - sited within ellis brigham stores) and snow & rock.
and then you have all your indie shops, most of which have staff who ride themselves so will know what is good for her. around the country you have two seasons who have a store in bristol if you're there.

there's also bsbsnowboarding. i don't know anything about them and can't vouch for their quality of service, sorry. they only stock burton and 32 ladies boots. the fit would really depend on your daughter's foot stats (width/skinny heels/etc.)
sorry, and in answer to your earlier question about nfa boots - i have no idea about them as i have never heard of that brand. it doesn't mean it's not good though, as it could be a snowboard boot made for just kids?
*edit. i've just looked at the item on ebay. it may be good, but buying a bargain on ebay could end up causing a lot of problems in the future if the boot doesn't fit properly. it's your call really.

Have a look at www.sierrasnowboard.com www.evogear.com and ebay. www.rei.com sometimes do good deals too. Some brands can't be shipped internationally, but sierrasnowboard are sending burton gear overseas at the moment. When my kids were small, I had them in Burton and K2 kids boots, they had different sized footbeds in them, that you could take out to accommodate a bit of growth. I've got one in 32 boots now, really nice quality. Obviously they need to fit well, but if you can get ones that do with Boa, it saves a load of hassle with getting the boots on.

sherlock235, thanks for the advice and yes I am a bit nervous about buying off eBay. My daughter used Salomon boots last week and found them very comfortable, might go for these because they're a known quantity.
rogg, thanks for that, checked with Bristol TSA and the smallest they have are size 4 unfortunately.
hang11, sierrasnowboard seem to have the best prices and selection and have a very similar Salomon boot which looks good - not sure about the sizings though so may e-mail them.
As a general question how much fitting do snowboard boots need? Ski boots can be a nightmare and I've had real hassles in the past but have now found a good boot fitter, is it similar with snowboard boots or do they tend to be more easily fitted off the shelf?

The sizing charts on sierrasnowboard seem to be accurate. Never had any drama with my kids, with sizes being true on the boots, and snowboard boots for kids are quite soft, so not a huge drama on fit, although they obviously need to be the right size. There's not a huge selection of kids sizes out there anyway, so I guess you can't be too choosy about the perfect fit anyway.
If it's any help, we've never had issues with buying K2, 32, Ride and Burton boots for the kids. I don't think there's many other brands that do kids boots? Best so far would have to be the 32 Exus Boa for the kids, robust, no complaints about comfort, and easy to get on and off.

roga, it may be worth going in and getting her fit anyway. i wear a women's size uk2.5 normally (35.5) but my trainers tend to fit fine at a uk4, and my salomon f20 snowboard boots are size uk5.5 (37.5). the uk4 burton they have in stock may actually work on her foot. if it's not too big, it may also work cos her foot is still growing?
ps. salomon f-series boots tend to come up smaller cos the liners aren't removable. it also means a lot of people go up a few sizes when getting fitted for them.

Well, I've crossed my fingers and ordered a pair of Salomons from Sierra Snowboard that are very similar to the hire ones my daughter used and found comfortable - hopefuly the calculated gamble will pay off but at $50 they were a bit of a bargain!
Thanks for all the advice and comments guys ... now where will I get some kit for myself
