Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just been flicking through new 2011 model skis and came across the new range from the guys at Armada... NO!! what have you done!

for years they've produced virtually the same base design across their whole range, it looked super sick and it was reconisable e.g.



But for me, they've ruined it with the new models, they just don't appeal to me at all Sad e.g.

theres a lot of minging graphics about, the 80s weren't cool..now all the ski and bike product managers just need to get over that and we'll be okay again.

milnerhome, i agree with you....distintive simple designs with strong colours appeal to me...i think black crows have the best graphics out there...especially the navis and the sevun...

i've one black one with huge white writing and one luminous baby-shite green one with no writing - i nearly phoned up to complain they sent me two different mismatching skis! No one will ever seen them though in the fashion depicted in the OP picture above, so a bit of a waste really, though i'm sure i look proper core poncin about the top station with 'em. Word Cool Laughing

Lizzard, The key question....my current skis are horrid pink with butterflies, if I bought by what they looked like they wouldn't have a look in, but that would be a shame as they ski like a dream!
