Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

New grips and straps for K2 4-speed poles?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Anyone know where I can get replacement grips for a K2 composite "4-speed" pole? - the poles are poking through the top of the current ones. I'm not too fussed whether it's K2 or something else, as long as it fits/works. The pole looks to be ~16mm up at the top.

I could also do with some new straps.

Higs, I might have some you can have for the price of the postage.
I wont be able to get them to you until I return to Notts around April 27th.
They are my old poles the tip is broke on one but handles are ok. I think I still have them.
PM me a reminder around 26th if this is any good to you.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Excellent.

Will include the price of a pint (or two) as well as the postage.

Just out of interest, how have you managed to knacker the grips so badly?

One pole has shoved through the top of the grip. The other one looks like it's not far behind.

They were 2nd hand when I got them (bundled in free with some skis I bought) and the one that's gone now was on it's way so I've no complaints.

The exact same thing happened to me with the ladies version of these poles. I went to a local K2 supplier to see if I could get new handles, they asked K2 who said they would replace the poles free of charge Smile

Good to hear they've changed, was getting a bit worried having just bought a pair. Mine have a hard but rubbery grip and hard plastic end cap.
