Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Swirly, snowball, tricky, looks like a "no fall" zone with the rock band below the dog leg

I just spliced that photo with another to give a wider view:

This was about 20th April 2008

Looks like you could come over Spikes (out of sight behind) then traverse left below the cliff and come down somewhere in the middle of the slopes in this picture. Mind you, it looks steep.

Perspective is making the top part of the slope look too small - it is actually 350m vertical from the top, while the slope on the left edge of the photo with the tracks (you can get there by traversing after Summit Gully) is perhaps not more than 100m.

david@mediacopy, not sure if you saw these photos of Nevis from a few days before you went...

Now she is retired Mrs snowball seems happier about a Scottish visit next year so long as she comes too and we spend some non-skiing time up there as well. Seems like a plan.
Now I just have to hope for another good year of Scottish snow Puzzled
