I had a look at his website, to be honest I can't really see what the problem is with someone running an independant website to provide information about a ski area esp. if the info is accurate and useful to potential visitors (which I'm assuming it is?). At the end of the day the resort should benefit by increased visiting trade and dollars spent.
I don't know much about Tremblant - what is the problem here - there must be something that I'm not aware of. Can someone enlighten me please?

holidayloverxx, I only went up for the 24hr races: can't stand the place otherwise, and -insider definitely made the experiences bearable.

That's what it's happens:
JB runs a "insider" website with lots of great and useful information about Tremblant. My own experience, 3 years ago, I've used the insider site to get all kind of information I' would put my eyes on. Those information you will not have at the official website, 'cos they focus on sale sale and sale. You'll not know about your health plan doesn't will work there, how will cost you if you need a doctor, things like that. Also, he give you with many other information about a great Snow report and piste conditions, places, rental, food and so on. It's kind similar of this website actually.
Well, I think the JB website success is the main reason for the mountain's "owner" jealous. They can't figure out how complementary the JB work could be for the business.
I really wish he keep on doing his great job and keep Insider site running, he deserves!

I'm a new skier(maybe 6 years now) and live at a tropical country. Plan a trip to ski, with the family, to a unknown country, rent a car, keep an eye on the weather, hotel, rent skies, lift, health plan, etc, etc.. it's hard actually
What JB are doing is quite the same of other people are doing here and from Epcski too. A great work to give information to people like me, who need to be a bit more confident to fly from here to a place in a mountain with snow from all sides.
This year we've did a trip to Les Arcs and we've got so much great information about road conditions, piste conditions, places to stay, restaurants and so on, things to care about.
And I would to say THANKS to you all.
