When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

About to buy Atomic Smoke Ti's - any thoughts on them?

As above really. These will be my first brand new skis, having only had second hand before now.

I'm 6'2" and 88kg. Early intermediate - ie parallel, red runs but progressing quickly enough and looking for something that will suit as I get better. Ski fairly fast, on piste so far but want a wee bit of off piste ability. They have a 76mm sidecut so seem to meet that requirement. As far as I can establish they are soft enough for someone at my level but I'd welcome any comments on this.

I plan to order them within the next couple of days so I'd welcome any thoughts on these skis. Won't get the chance to demo them as I'm studying at the mo.
