Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Whitedot Redeemer review

Lol nah I'd be happy with the 190 length (although a 186/188 would have been perfect...), just faceshots are one of my favourite things about skiing pow, and I've never skied anything fatter than my 92mm Big Troubles, and just wondering if/how much extra float might affect faceshot potential.

What a weird question!! Shocked

All of our lengths are mould lengths ie how long the ski is in the flat mould before it sees the press so you'll find the actual length is 188cm.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Speaking of which, when will these start falling out of the press Dot.?

Plenty of face shots still available even with 128mm under foot, mainly 'cos youre going so much faster with that width!

kitenski, I'd go 190.

I'd only consider the 180 if you're sub 70kg.

You can hit the fall line then slam them sideways if you want the snow to billow up.

Having spent the majority of a further couple of weeks on them I just have to re-endorse my earlier review that they rock as a non-hardpack ski. Only drawbacks - a little skitterish on some sastrugi and not quite wide enough for the 3 foot of fresh I had to deal with on one day with my limited talent. Even got used to tearing up (soft) groomers on them.

fatbob,
Thats good to hear.
I took my own advice (oh, and a bit of yours! wink) and now have a shiny pair of Redeemers waiting for the right day, and a shiny pair of Preachers for when I'm not so sure it's the right day snowHead
My Mantras got duked (though of course parlor wont approve of that! wink) so I may partake in some limited uphill action, and are now my small skis Happy
