Crocodilians have no bony eye ring, a bony secondary palate, and bony scutes without overlapping scales. There are many others, but these are some of the most significant. Or maybe one should explain better for the Lizzzzzzard dimmmers amongst us, taxonomically speaking, Lizards are under the Reptilian order Squamata, while the crocodiles, gharials, caimans and alligators are under the Reptilian order Crocodilia. Therefore Crocodillians are not the Scaled Reptiles (Lizards). So um thanks for posting a random picture of a crocodile LOL.
