As a fifty three year old who is a snowboarder first and then a skier, it pains me to say that I find skiing easier on my knees than snowboarding!

I am off for a MRI scan in a couple of weeks but I broke the left knee in an accident 25 years ago and I think the cartiledge has worn out.

Fogliettaz, maybe, maybe not. I thought the same, but luckily I'm having it put right with the physio - although it hurts like hell.

Fogliettaz, Pretty much in the same boat,plus I can give you a couple of years. Lose weight and physio/work through the pain, you can keep them working. Vit E and joint suplements assist too.
Oh, and learn to telemark
