Poster: A snowHead

Hi All.
In Jan I was in Norway at my Sisters.
The skis I have there wer ein a cupboard and when I looked they were really rusty. And I mean REALLY REALLY rusty. Are they worth while having servicesd and bringing back to Scotland on my next trip (since they are 10cm smaller than what I normally use)? THink of a 10 year old rusty nail.
Are they worht it to haev a shop do it? Skis are Dynastar Driver9 AES and only cost £100 (to me not RRP) .
Cheers
Bob

glasgowcyclops, take them up north after a good refreeze. Couple of runs should sort that out.

glasgowcyclops, They sound pretty bad, but ice crystals are pretty abrasive, I wonder what they'd look like if you took them skiing somewhere not too demanding of good edges for a couple of hours, it might take some of the rust off them (less elbow work) you could finish them with something abrasive as suggested above.
