Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

What would you suggest as replacements for my Head S8 boots?

Hi fellow snowheads

After some DIY boot fitting attempts, I may have wrecked my Head S8 (they smell any way) so I'm looking into an end-of season deal for a new pair of boots to replace them and would like some opinions from the experts.

I have very wide feet as you can see from the picture in the link above so the boot has to be wide and high around the forefoot. I also like rather squiggy soft boots that are good for bumps, off piste and variable snow. I have the Head S8 on the "soft" settings and I weight 70kg.

Here's an estimated flex of the Head S8 (I don't know how reliable they are):
Flex adjustment 90-105 (source: level nine sports), 76/66 (bootfitters.com)

Any suggestions for someone with wide feet and likes it soft?
This time, I'm planning to have them properly boot fitted with CEM in the break after the season so no more DIY...[/b]

Just go to CEM and let him measure your foot and tell you then!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yep, no point going to a top notch fitter with your mind set on a particular boot, part of his skill is picking out the best one for you!
