Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfer Salzburg to Kaprun

Does anyone want to share a transfer taxi from Salzburg airport to Kaprun on Monday 15th? We get in about 9.40am from Stansted.
We fly back on Friday 19th at 3pm if that's helpful to anyone too?
There are just 2 of us with a teeny tiny bag!

Have you looked at the OBB website for Austrian public transport too? Dunno what it's like for Kaprun, but most resorts are easy to get to on public transport.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

My partner and I are using the public bus for transfer from Salzburg airport to Saalbach on the 13th. Apparently it's a piece of cake and cheap. I'd imagine it's jsut as easy for Kaprun, maybe even the same bus.

It is easy, just remember at the Maishofen stop when you change busses, you need to go down the slope and round the corner for the next bus - the driver will point it out to you though, and it's only around 10 metres or so.

I was going to post the very environmentally unfriendly suggestion to hire a car - but the costs have gone up pretty dramatically since I last hired from Salzburg, best price I can see is £130 for that period. Very easy driving/parking in Austria though. Have a good trip.

There is a train to Zell.. then a bus from there. Dirt cheap but you have to get to the train station (bus) from airport.
