Has anyone purchased gloves where they can honestly say their hands have never got cold
I've skied 4 weeks this year and back at xmas it was -25 in Vald'sere and my hands were freezing for the first time in 4 season
Are there gloves out there to combat these conditions?
Suggestions would be welcomed
Thank you

Hestra Army gloves have worked for me this season in some really awful conditions.

I had to stop using my Levels as they got too hot.
At the end of the day they were soaked in sweat, which then froze as soon as I removed them for any reason, and then drying them out the pong started...

I've a pair of Marmot Exum work gloves & they're brilliant though i've yet to use them in anything below -20. However in saying that my hands have been toasty in them when it's been in & around -15. I'd also echo the hestra comments though they're seriously expensive.

Burton AK Clutch.
Very warm and extremely waterproof.
Too warm for anything other than January/February for me.

You know it makes sense.

Top range Hestra's are great, but you're better off with the mitt version for warmth.

I've never been anywhere quite that cold, but do own several pairs of gloves - my warmest are my Rossignol Goretex ones. Coldest so far experienced was about -15 in La Plagne this Jan. Hands were still toasty warm. I was surprised to see them being worn by lots of others too if that is any recommendation.

Crappy mitts are warmer than super gloves.

black diamond guide gloves or hestra army gauntlets are the warmest gloves i have ever used. both have removable liners although i find the hestras more versatile in this respect.

I'm watching this thread with interest.
My g/f suffers with Raynaulds syndrome ... which basically means that her hands/fingers are severely affected by the cold (i.e. turn white/blue and hurt like hell).
She's tried mits, extra liners, etc. ... and has even been given drugs by the doc (which didn't work very well and made her feel dizzy) ... so maybe I need to point her in the direction of snowpatrol's Black Diamond gloves.
As a matter of interest, has anyone tried any of the heated gloves that are out there?

abj, my wife has the same problem so I bought her some wristies, basically a fleece tube with a hole for the thumb, the main problem with raynaulds is that the cold air closes down the blood vessels in the wrist, so not enough circulates to the hands, hence the wristies http://www.wristies.com/

snowpatrol, cheers. I'll have a google, but any pointers would be great.
Sack the Juggler, I'll take a gander. I have heard that warm wrists = warm hands - so may be theseworn underneath some high quality gloves might do the trick.
