Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Plagne Bellecote

Hello

Just wondered if someone can give me any info on Plagne Bellecote. Group of seven including my 7 and 4 year old. Little lad will be looking for Piou Piou while my little girl will be looking for 1 star esf. We will have four intermediates with us plus one who is a beginner snowboarder.

I have flights to Chambery for the 4th April - so I am thinking the altitude and current snow depths will be satisfactory.

I have found a private transfer for approx 700 return (Alp-line or cool bus) - is this about a fair price. Seems to be!

P&V accom seems to be right on the slopes so that looks fine.

Anyway, thanks in anticipation of the usual awesome replies.

Matt

Bellecote is very functional and looks like it should be on the outskirts of Moscow, but definitely does the job skiing-wise. I think all the apartment blocks are right on the piste; we stayed in Maeva so don't know about P&V. It's got one or two of everything you might need-bars, restuarants, supermarket, pharmacy, hire shops. But there's nothing else to do with the young ones. We stayed their a couple of Decembers ago with a 1 and 2 year old so can't comment on ski school. The free bubble up to Belle Plagne followed by play in the snow was the standard afternoon activity-that and the bus to LP 1800.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
