Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone in Chamonix March 10-12th? My friends head home on Tues and I'm looking for some company off-piste or in the pub! I don't have any touring gear/experience, but happy to go down pretty much anything lift-served (even the piste if i have to). I know the main areas well enough, but equally happy if someone else knows better!

I'll be out there then with a group of mates so if you fancy a run or 2 then drop me a PM. I'll warn you now that I board more than ski so if you're put off waiting at the top of the lifts for folk to strap in then you'd have to look elsewhere
If you're out there for a while beforehand you should just get yourself to the Vag for apres and you'll meet a load of like minded folks to ride with.

I love avoiding the piste unless it's rock solid off-piste.

Where will you be on Weds? Can't see any reason not to be at grand montets myself - there's been nobody there so far this week. . . off piste has been pretty decent. . .
