Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Pas de la Casa - ski school used by Neilson

I hope someone can answer this...... I'm an intermediate as is my stepson, we've both booked for lessons in Pas de la Casa over Easter with Neilson.

Any idea whether they're likely to be morning or afternoon? If so what are the times?

We'd much prefer mornings, and would possibly not have booked group lessons had we known they could be afternoon.

I don't wish to sound unhelpful (don't know the answer anyway) but wouldn't you get your answer easily by contacting Neilson?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I have, just no reply yet. I also asked on booking and they said "not sure, it depends on how busy they are". But I read one place say beginners morning, intermediates afternoon.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of lessons in Pas through Neilson.

Many years ago when I went to ski school in Pas, my lessons were in the afternoon. I think it was probably intermediate because it was my second time skiing and we were on the blue slope straight away rather than a nursery slope.

I seem to recall that there were two ski schools there, ESF and also the Andorran national equivalent. I think I was with ESF and they are probably who the UK tour operators use.

I remember finishing my lessons at 4.45 and all the girls in my group would ski down and meet our other halves at the bar at the bottom of the slope as they did 2-for-1 happy hour beers and gave you free apple schnapps shots!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

if it works like soldeu, you will get a voucher from neilson. On Monday morning you get to the ski school office and book. First come first served - most people want mornings so if you're too late you only have afternoons. So ask Neilson rep, and skip breakfast if you must.

Thanks for replies, I did eventually get a reply from Neilson, and they've said they'll try and sort morning lessons. The majority are anyway, just depends on how busy they are.

Lessons would be 10am-1pm. Probably due to it being a party town, would probably prefer earlier start as we try and squeeze as much as we possibly can in. Can't have everything I suppose Very Happy
