Going to Pas in 3 weeks with some lads.
How is it at moment, snow conditions, streets, bars, etc

Snow coverage is good at the moment with more due this week. Yesterday was bright blue skies but today is a bit cloudy/overcast but snow is due, and you can't get snow without cloud!
There's a little bit of snow in the village, roads are mainly clear but still a bit slushy from the snow last week.

Must admit to keeping fingers crossed for no fresh snow Thurs/Friday as we are driving from Toulouse to Andorra as flights to Barcelona were too full.... will def be checking snow chains on hire car before leaving Toulouse!!

I've heard Pas is a bit of a party town. What's it like for taking kids? Thinking of going over Easter.

I'll be in Soldeu with 12 and 14 year old. If the weather is too bad to ski any day then we'll either go to Pas or Andorra La Vella. Soldeu has a handful of shops and bars. Pas has loads more shops, skating rink, etc.. Would I stay there? No, but families do and seem to think its OK. If you want lessons for your kids with similar age then Soldeu offers that - Pas might, but might not be as many kids so the class might be more diverse. Also if kids are beginners or weak intermediates then Soldeu offers a lot more route choice for them.
