Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

My daughter hurt her coccyx in a ski-ing accident several years ago and stills get twinges.

Any thoughts/comments on these options I chould get for her to protect it when boarding (she is 14 and has five weeks boarding experience) ?

Probably recommend the shorts option - less likely to shift about during a day on the hill. Bought a pair prior to a freestyle weekend at Hemel Hempstead and they worked a treat despite several heavy (see botched) landings and falls onto boxes etc, although never had back problems like your daughter.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

After the discomfort of a bruised butt i thought I'd try some protection. I came across this http://www.skiwear4less.com/acatalog/Tail_Saver.html
it feels a bit like a nappy to start off with but it did save my a$$ a few times

go with this one:

I have one from 2 seasons ago and its been great, saved my a$$ many times. Plus you can take some pads out which may not always be needed.

I've used impact shorts and azzpadz - the azzpadz were by far the better option for coccyx protection.
