Poster: A snowHead

Looking at the possibility of a fly-drive via Munich. Is a German hire car likely to be "winterised"?
Chains are offered as an option. Looking into this as an alternative to driving to Austria and using the Hull-Rotterdam ferry.
Any info/tips welcomed.

You need to check the T&C's and what's included in your hire. Don't take anything for granted. We paid Euro25 (Euro5 a day for 5 days) for our recent car hire from Munich through Holiday Autos. We paid this amount at the airport to the hire company. (Thrifty)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

GeorgeVII, Apologies. I realise that wasn't completely clear. It was for winterisation (i.e. winter tyres) at Euro5 per day.

Just click on the blue lettering and it takes you to the holiday auto site.
looks the same site , but this one gives you 20% off.
try it , get a price , then try the ordinary holiday auto site to see the difference.
I use it all the time.
hope this helps.
