Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello,
It looks like we are Mottaret bound this year and I was wondering if anyone had an tips on the best bars to go to.
Also, how easy is it to get to and from Meribel in the evening?

Which bit of Mottaret? Top or bottom? It makes a difference. There are buses to Meribel which run quite frequently - I suggest

Erm, not sure, I know we are about 3 mins walk from the 4 lifts at the centre, don't think its the top - Just checked, its on the road to Meribel side, I think the road is called Crocus
Does anyone know if there is something like a F1 hotel in Moutiers? I know there is one in Albertville, but wondered if there was one closer?

I think there is an Ibis, which might do you. Wherever you are in Mottaret, I think it would be fair to say the place is not exactly jumping. Good pizza at the Cote Brune. The best bar is probably the Hameau bar at the top, but that is one hell of a climb from the bottom. The skiing is fantastic though. And Mottaret is smack in the middle of the best of it. Enjoy.
