When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

interesting article.... seems to tell us than even the so called experts don't have a clue! I suppose if we knew in advance what the rates were going to be then we'd all be FOREX multi millionaires like George Soros and living in the Alps from December to April in a swanky chalet paid for in CASH wink

There's not a world of difference in the figures these 'experts' are quoting. So to most people it's only going to make a few pounds difference. So one less or one more beer. Hardly a big deal. Buy when you can afford to. Not that I can ever afford a summer holiday in addition to a winter holiday of course.

Unless you are converting vast sums of money then I doubt the shift one way or the other will make any impact on your holiday spending. If a £30 to £40 difference is make or break then you may be better off looking at The Sun’s £9.50 holidays. However, as you are reading a ski forum and you most likely spend stupid amounts of cash following your passion then I would not stress too much on when to visit the post office.

If this does worry you then go all inclusive. Very Happy
