Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi snowHead

I have found flights that get me in to Geneva at 19.40 on the 6th March.

BUT how can I get from the airport to La Tania? I am going solo, the Chalet can arrange transfer for £55 return but only if I arrive between (9 - 5)

So far transfer quotes are more than my entire budget rolling eyes

I am waiting for a quote from a recommendation on snowHead hoping for a shared transfer.

Looked at altibus but it seems the last one will leave while I am in baggage reclaim!

youngeratheart, Think you are going to have trouble on a budget unless you can have words with one of the operators that will be waiting at the arrivals hall and give them an offer they should refuse!!! wink

Otherwise I would be with riverman,. In most cases there is a reason why some flights are cheap! Sorry!

Thanks all of you. I was trying to get a free flight with my airmiles so the rest would be in budget. I have found earlier flights but for cash price my total comes in £160 over the top, EEK!

So dilema is, do I bust the budget now or do I nail bite it out till the last week and hope I find an all inc hol for £660. I know thats still cheap but I am wooried about being caught out with nada Puzzled

youngeratheart The week you're looking at is the first one after the French school holidays, so it's a good one to go to France, as the slopes will be a lot quieter. But "last minute" for 6 March will be very end of February/early March so if you don't want to wait till then, and if you're younger in years, as well as heart, you can get all-in holidays with Action Outdoors, including instruction, at a UCPA centre, for £630 bookable now. http://www.action-outdoors.co.uk/datesandprices.aspx

My guess is that you will find some good prices much nearer the time, if you're flexible about resort and style of accommodation/holiday.
