Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We did a weekend there a few years ago, can't comment on current prices but Italian mountain restaurants are the best, you have to try very hard to find a bad one.
There wasn't much in the way of bars or restaurants in resort except for those in the hotels, unless they've been on a building spree recently.
The village is a bit strung out without much of a centre.
The pizza place come diner was quite good and if you ignore all their unsubtle hints to go home they eventually usher you into the back room with all the pisteurs (sorry don't know the Italian term) till the small hours.

Basically its quiet.

Skiing is linked to Madonna di Campiglio which is quite posh but makes for a pretty reasonable total ski area but still not huge by alpine standards.
If you want to clock up miles maybe not the best choice.
We had a car which was very useful as it means you can down the road to Passo Tonale which is worth a visit.

Cheers Rich i like quiet. We don't drink alot when we are skiing but do get through alot of coffee and soft drinks
we also like good food but find the prices in some resorts are so high that the enjoyment is spoiled 6 quid for a beer etc.

doghead, I posted this report last April.

Pricewise, I'd say better value than many French and Austrian resorts plus the couple of other Italian resorts I've been to.

Fantastic resort IMHO.
