Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bit of a strange one this was asked by members of the local ski club to go out to this resort with them and teach for a week. Not somwhere I would normally go myself but its always good to get teaching hours on snow.

A small isolated resort high in the Spanish Pyrenees. Based around an old monestary in an isolated valley accessed only by train. There is 9 runs of varios standards 2 greens for beginners 4 reds, 2 blues, and 1 black. Less than 90 minutes from Gerona by car or just over 2 hours by train.

Snow was not great for the 1st two days but the heavens opened on the second night and we got light powder for hte next 3 days.

A couple of nice places to eat around the resort and a hostel and hotel right on the hill so first tracks are an option. Very few lift q's over the week.

Couple of draw backs are very limited terrain, and the runs are short. But not bad for a quick weekend or day visit from Gerona or Barcelona
