is it just me or are prices for week 23rd very high still with no sign of dropping? Is it the good snow fall?

was the same for 16/17 till wednesday before.. just hold your nerve. The downside is you may fly from an airport you never knew existed as i'm doing tomorrow.. teeside!! didn't know they had electricity never mind an airport..

mugen, teesside airport is small but perfectly formed. Loads of parking within walking distance of the terminal and easy once inside. Enjoy.

half board at hotel turquoise in belle plagne for 299 + 40 for transfer. there was also great deals to myerhoffen for 150 and a pile of other stuff in la plagne but to self catering..
leaving for teeside at 12:30 am as flight leaves at 7ish. i'm still convinced i'll get there and there wont be an airport. rather an old farm with a dc-10 on it and some guy telling me i have a purdy mouth... eek!!

DTV only has a couple of flights a year to the slopes and they are always full of kids

I've been keeping my eye out and it seem the sticking point for me would be Manchester flights, there seems to be nothing left till mid feb!

got a catered chalet deal last year for £280 all good
seen chatered chalet leaving today for£229 in plagne 1800
hoping to leave on 23rd jan....waiting for price to come down. will let you know.

i think the only real issue with leaving it late means you dont have the pic of airport.

that is so right! we woulds love to be able to fly from Bristol, but Gatwick is where we usually end up. pain in the back bottom, but still saves us loads.
last year we got an odd flight..........leaving Gatwick at 2.00am on the Saturday morning. it did mean we had an extra half day skiing on Sat afternoon..................................................having had no sleep at all since we left Somerset the previous afternoon. great fun , although it really did feel bizarre launching ourselves on to the piste after a spell of sleep deprivation.
would i do it again? oh yes

just about to embark on a bit of sleep deprivation myself.. 45 mins from glasgow airport, 20 mins from edinburgh aiport and i'm driving to teeside leaving home around 1am great fun..
