Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well after all the fuss about Curling being stopped because of H&S and footy off becasuse of an icy car park.... AND the recent UK skier behind a car...

Well you can rely on the good old Norwegians to bring us a sense of reality and show us how to have fun.

Watch the video here of a guy skiing behind a car. Makes our lads look like winps.

Operations manager Johs Nysæther in Vestfold County police had not heard of motoring on the ice in Lofoten when Tønsbergs Magazine spoke with him last night. He warns strongly against activities like this.

- How to driving on ice is a dangerous game. Sea ice is not as secure everywhere. In some places the ice is weaker. Partly as a result of currents in the sea. Therefore, we warn strongly against driving a car on ice, turn Nysæther fixed. Operation leader shows further that those who do this also puts the lives of others in danger.

@Shimmy Alcott, Yep I know. Off on friday.

Top tip on visiting Norway. If you have hand luggage with the Ryanair 55x40 x >20cm< restriction you might find it difficult getting in duty free, since you cant take it in a separate bag (although apparently Prestwick have complained and you can get away with it there).

Torp (OSLO)/Sandifjord Lufthaven have a reasonably priced duty free that you can go into when you land.
