Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Salomon Custom Air Helmet

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, I've been a SnowHeads lurker for a while now, have found it a great resource for information and also discovered Ski Tuning Jon who we visited for an tuning lessons (fantastic service btw Very Happy ) So time for my first post...

We're off on our annual trip at the end of the month (only 18 more sleeps woo-hoo Very Happy Very Happy ) and looking at replacing my helmet before we go. I've been looking at the Salomon Custom Air Range, and found them to be very comfy and a really good fit. I'm kinda between a small and medium but can get a snug perfect fit with these.

There are three different one's in the women's range - the Icon Origins, the Devine, and the Devine Origins. My question is, does anyone on here have one, and know the difference between the three? There's a £30 price difference between the least and most expensive, I've looked on many retailers websites and salomon.com, but other than aesthetics really cannot see a difference.

Can anyone offer any info?

Welcome onboard. snowHead

I've never seen any of these in the flesh, so can't help. Does the Salomon website give any clues?

Thanks, the Salomon website has all three on, but other than aesthetics as I said they all seem technically the same. When you look at the pics of the different helmets in the same common colours the photos are identical. Maybe Salomon have the wrong photos on the web Puzzled

saskew, I tried some of these on before Christmas - about the only 'expensive' ski helmet that actually fitted me. I wasn't paying that much attention to the variations, but I don't recall that the difference was that evident.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

My wife tried a few and found the goggle fit was different between them.
