Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Easter Skiing

 Poster: A snowHead

I’m after your recommendations on suitable resorts for this Easter; I’m looking at getting away 3rd April in a mixed ability group, 2 beginners, 1 intermediate snowboarder and 1 advanced skier. So we need quite varying terrain.

The group is 2 couples so I’m not after anywhere too boisterous, but still want something to do in the evenings.

Obviously as it’s near the end of the season we need to go high. One of the most important factors will be the two beginners, as this will be there first (hopefully of many) week on snow I don’t want them stuck on a melting green that’s tucked round the back end of the village all week.

So far the main two I have looked into are;

Les Deux Alpes – High altitude, upside down mountain for the beginners. I have been before so I know what to expect.

3 Valleys – More than likely Val Thorens due to its altitude, I had a week in Meribel last January and I’m off to Mottaret next weekend so both of those are possibilities but not sure what the cover will be like down to 1400m come April?

Anybody got any other recommendations?
