Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi All,

I'm currently in La Plagne (snowing for past 36hrs) and want to travel from here to Austria (St Anton) hopefully on the train, however i am struggling to find the best/ easiest route without going all the way back to Paris. Has anyone done the journey or has advice on getting to St Anton from La Plagne. All advice most welcome. Anyone coming to La Plagne will be having great conditions....

martyb49, Hi I had a look last year at Chatel to Innsbruck, which involved an overnight sleeper from Geneva with I think a change at Zurich, I didn't do it in the end, there were flights from Geneva via Zurich but it was quite expensive.

The local tourist board has details of trains form Paris http://www.stantonamarlberg.com/en/st-anton/informationen/travel-getting-here.html, or have a look at the man in seat sixty one www.seat61.com great site for European rail travel.

Have a look at www.jumblefly.com to see if there are any low cost airlines flying form Lyon, Grenoble to Austria.
