Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Butterfly, maybe the glove liners are hidden with the Studio Ghibli DVDs I've bought the rugrats as it seems the post office have worked their magic on those as well!
Happy Christmas all

Well my main present (if it goes ahead) is (Christmas and Birthday combined) my ski trip to Kirchdorf, from my wife.

The only other ski related present this year was a book - "Two Planks and a Passion - The dramatic history of skiing" by Roland Huntford. I've only read a few pages so far, but it looks very interesting.

Wow, so spoiled: huge book on Anish Kapoor, a Herend porcelain rabbit, some cherries in kirsch, a dévoré scarf, some fancy scented candles, some table napkins, a Sophie Conran/Portmeirion jug, some brilliant little mugs that look like crumpled paper cups except they're porcelain, a piece of coloured glass to hang up in a window, a book of short stories by Kazuo Ishiguro, a silly thingie for holding a washing-up sponge, a pot of hyacinths. And absolutely nothing skiing-related or music-related. Toofy Grin No duds, with the exception of the scarf which, although very pretty, is almost identical to one I already have.

After many years of asking, to my surprise I found I was now the owner of a shiney Aston Martin ! Shocked Smile

Various bottles of wine, whiskey, couple of boxes of chocs, shortbread and aftershave, a Man Utd mug. Oh yes and a food hamper for an old family friend, they must think I need feeding up! A particulary useful set of Thule roofbox bags.

BTW, The Aston Martin was the classic DB5, the one made famous in Bond movie Goldfinger! Shame it is only a 4 inch Corgi toy ! Laughing

billyh, I've got one of those - it is a good thing - they not only dry your boots but make them nice and cosy to put on first thing - I find if I start with warm cosy feet that they then stay that way. ricfrench, If you don't keep it in the house how on earth will you be able to stroke it and accustom it to you before you use it? My new skis are in my lounge!!

BMF_Skier, A couple of years ago my OH gave me one of my presents saying, "Usually people get this first and then get the real thing later". The present turned out to be a scale model from the MG Owners Club (about 8" long) of my 1971 British racing green MGB GT that I have owned for the past 24 years!
