Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Rossignol Zenith 7.5 vs 10

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All.

I recently tried skis at xscape. I liked the Rossi Zenith 7.5. The Nordica Mach2 and dobermans were great but perhaps a bit hairy for me if I use them on the mountan.

Anyway. I have a chance of getting some new (2008/9) zenith 10's really cheap. Are they better than the new 7.5's? Or how do they compare?

Cheers
Bob

Ohhh well

I was just looking for reasurance... however, I liked the 7.5's (didn't try the 10's) at a test day. BUT the 10's I'm sure are similar (and possibly better) and only £300 with bindings and a quality bag. Happy

Off to Braehead xscape to give them a try before heading up to Avimore on thursday Happy

PS Greaves in Gordon st glasgow have a 162 Zenith 10 at the same price on sale. Mine was a 170 Happy
Cheers

I didn't realise Greaves still stocked ski stuff, do they have a big selection?

Hi ARV

Not a lot but they have some REAL bargains.

I just got Zenith 10's with Axium 120 Tpi2 bindings for £300, and i managed to also bargain in a new padded bag Happy. Cant resist the old wheeling and dealling Happy They have a 162 for the same. Other deals are salomon crosmax ski only £50 at 150cm (looks like an old style and new Salomon 2V's in bindings for 80-100 NEW.

There are a couple of wide VOLKL's look like 90mm waist and they have a weird dial on the tail. I think they have about 20 skis so just as much as Nevisport and Blues but they only have 4 skis on the website.
They certainly seem willing to do the deal.

If your home you could pop round. Your only 200m from them. Happy
Cheers

Is Aviemore not quicker than Ft William. Helensburgh-Balloch-Stirling Aviemore ~ 3 hours?
