Hi there, the club. Very glad to have found similarly-minded bunch of people. Did several skiing trips "solo", and even though many were good, they don't come cheap. My additional limitation, as a teacher I have to stick to school holidays, the busiest times to leave the islands ever. Already organised my halfterm skiing in Andorra (never been there, should be interesting), dirt expensive. But would love to join any trips in holidays with snow enthusiasts. Must admit I am a skier and probably remain one, but hey, we ski and board on snow.

anicka, welcome! There are quite a few on here who are restricted to school hols. Luckily I am not one of them at the mo but my work increasingly seems to be taking me into FE colleges so my wings get clipped more!

Welcome- Must be so expensive only being able to go away in school holidays. I realise companies need to make money but its incredible how they get away with charging so much.

billyh, Supply and demand. The teachers and families have to pay through the nose! Such is life, the answer to parents is take the kids out of school unless it is an exam year!
