Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Childrens bindings mounting screw up

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Ok as per previous post: And to avoid the wrath of childline Toofy Grin

Whilst purchasing 2 sets of childrens boots and twintip skis at our local emporium in Gateshead rolling eyes Guy mounting the bindings used the wrong boot for the wrong ski.

This has meant that now I have had the chance to check things, that one of the pairs of skis has the boot centreline a full 1 cm behind the 'classic stance' line on the ski.

The other pair, interestingly is still alligned correctly so is not an issue. The bindings are Salomon LZ7's

My concern is that these being T/T and for a girl that classic stance would be as far back as you would ever want the boot CL?
I guess that this will make them slightly more difficult to turn but slightly more stable at speed?

My question is: Is this worth getting sorted out? will my daughter actually notice the difference?

Edit: They are 140cm Slamon 'kitty' skis and my dau is 12yrs 145cm 42Kg competent skier level 6-7 doing nice carved turns and simple tricks

Take them back and complain. They should fix it. At the minimum a re-drill and remount, but they may offer or you may want to insist on new skis.

Hopefully it's quite recent!

I wouldn't let it go as they messed up but i wouldn't worry about it either, your kid will soon learn how to ski them on piste and if you send her off into the powder then she will love it, and you will most likely change them in a couple of years if not sooner so not worth a remount IMO, but the shop owes you.
