Just about to purchace a set of k2 silencers but not sure wether to go for 160's or 170's. Im pretty sure 170's are the ones ill want but can someone confirm? im 5ft 10 and about 11 stone. intermediate - advanced. Cheers

Don't know about the K2 but for your height I would suggest the 160s but I'm sure there will be more knowledgeable snowheads along shortly

the 169 will do you well, don't forget when skiing a twin tip it skis short! a 159 is amlost like skiing a normal ski as a 150!

Hey captainpirateboy, whattya using them for, if your say doing a season and planning on riding the park then try the 179's, you'll be surprised and the added length will really help on the kickers...just regular Joe riding then dont drop below the 169's, twins tend to be pretty easy to ski so you can go longer to get a bit of stability!

170 minimum, as suggested I would be tempted to go even longer. Remember twins always ski 4/5cm shorter than their actual length, plus you will get used to an extra length pretty quickly, and it'll be advantageous in many situations (speed, powder, alnding jumps).
