spring had arrived when i left yesterday. There had been a thaw further down the valley all week but there was snow on the higher slopes in good condition and will stay for the rest of the Les Menuires season I would expect

Recovery is on track, but goes very slowly! I hope to be ready for 2010/2011
Today we will leave the 3-Valleys. Go by car to Genevea and will fly home tonight to Amsterdam.
Now I will go out for a morning walk up to Mont de la Chambre.
The weather is beautifull!

Looks to need snow.
I know snow varies from one year to another, but I'm wondering if I can get away with a holiday next Easter which is very late around 16th - 23rd April 2011.
Therefore just investigating how high a resort should we look to stay.

This is Réberty 2000 in Les Menuires. Just go to Val Thorens and you can ski untill the first week of May.

I hope an ACL reconstruction will not be necessary. According to the doctors skiing is also possible with an ACL.
