The 'Birds Nest' stadium, iconic feature of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, is to be transformed into a snow, ice, and skiing facility to keep the building in demand and busy. This follows several schemes which have not given the building a sustainable future.

Ah, I see, thanks!
No not quite back. Now in Chiang Mai and first guesthouse I've stayed in with wifi so uploading some photos to FB.
Laos was amazing, but not overly keen on Chiang Mai so far - it's somewhat disappointing after Laos where everything's so authentic. Did an elephant mahout yesterday (that was awesome), got one day sightseeing here today, then tonight I get the overnight train to Bangkok. Tomorrow I fly to Krabi for a week on the beach.
