Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just got my latest mail shot from these guys. They have some great offers on Dare2 ski jackets (about £30) and trousers (about £30) plus some usual offers on hats, gloves, goggles etc.

They even have an extra 20% off event towards the end of December.

The brands may not be top of the range but for newbies these look like great offers.

They all have somem ACG salopets\board pants goretex for 69 quid..I got a pair and really like them so defo worth a punt at 60 odd quid over some of the cheaper options.

just bought some fernie pants for £49 excellent quality , and purchased a very nice columbia jacket at £ 42 .

Mountain Warehouse sent me a new catalogue today too inside is an online voucher code worth 20% on top of all their usual savings, BOGOF's etc. Code is CTW20 valid until 24th December. I had one of their Isotex walking jackets a few weeks ago and it looks quite OK, though haven't trialled it yet.

If you can be bothered to go shopping the week before xmas then there may be some bargains.

The Dare2b jacket is actuallt £25 and they have trousers for £25 too. There is alos Nike and North Ridge stuff on offer.

Not sure if this is of interest to you professionals but the deals look OK to me.
