Painful to see all that nice powder being messed up - but there was some difficult snow too (and why was someone trying to do a 180 in powder )
However, we've all been there (and there (and there))

boabski, brilliant, every one a classic. I'm the person at 2.51, wondering how the hell to get up again. (I really don't mind falling, it's the getting sorted out again afterwards that's the real b*gger, especially as I'm always worried about holding other people up.)

great. Makes a nice change from all those "ski god" videos. I'll play that to myself when I'm feeling discouraged.

Some of these people are making it terribly hard for themselves.
Some pretty unique cashes there but the "faceplant grande" is always a classic Luckily my new skis don't tip dive

Certainly done most of those - interspersed by slightly longer sequences of linked recoveries.

If you want to learn how to ski powder I can recommend this to you, like many of you Ive been skiing for longer than I remember, and didnt expect to learn any thing
from it.
Although I have to admit its a bit dated, this is the best explanation of skiing technique I have ever seen or heard. Espcially bumps and powder.
You have to get past the purple jumpsuit though.

I am sure the chap trying the 180 is wearing the horrible coloured green ski club rep jacket..........
|

snowornever, no, the jacket they're wearing is a much lighter shade, and doesn't have the bits of grey either.

Good link.
Interestingly quite a few of those falls were people falling 'under' their skis. If anything in powder I tend to fall 'over' and I thought that would be the more common fall.

Encouraging to myself who is a poor off piste skier to see most of the falls looked nice and soft.
